December Team News

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas break with your family and friends.

The Vizion Wealth staff have enjoyed our time off and are now back to work and ready for a good year!

Our head of HR, Kim, enjoyed a 6-week cruise with her husband Bob. They visited many islands around the Caribbean and she has come back with a golden glow. Apparently, the food was divine and the array of wines kept them busy!

Corinne spent New Years in Turkey with her sister. They visited the city of Izmir, and enjoyed the Museum of History & Art and visiting the labyrinth-like bazaar, Kermeralti Market. We all got treated to some tasty baklava when Corinne came back to work (which meant my new year’s diet went out the window on day 5 of course). The last sunset of 2019 over the Aegean Sea looked dreamy 🙂

I travelled to Jordan with Terrence and we ventured to Amman, Al-Aqaba, Wadi Rum Desert, Petra and Madaba. Wadi Rum was my favourite part, as it felt as though I was trekking through the desert-planet of Tatooine (Star Wars fans will know). The ancient city of Petra, one of the new seven wonder of the world, was amazing – I can only imagine what it would have been in its glory days.

Andrew and his family went to the northern coastal town of Whitby. Being situated on a cliff, Whitby offers splendid views and has an old monastery sitting majestically above the town. Andrew mentioned they savoured some fresh fish and chips, and long beach walks… although I think poor Hendrix was a little worn out at the end of the day.

James and Georgie spent Christmas in Manchester enjoying the locally brewed beer, and listening to some live music by the neighbourhood bands.

Faith had the best weather in sunny Spain, and spent Christmas day with her girlfriends sipping cocktails on the beach – what a perfect day!

Have a lovely (and not too long) January everyone.

Love Jess x
