February Team News: Spring is round the corner!

The Vizion Wealth team have had a busy start to the year with lots to keep us busy in the office, some exams passes and also some exciting trips!

Firstly, we would like to congratulate our Investment Analyst, Sam, for passing the AF4 – Investment Planning exam. This means that Sam is another step closer to chartered status, so we are really pleased for him. During January, Sam has been doing lots of behind the scenes work on the Discretionary Portfolio Management Service (DPMS) model portfolios, which have been discussed and signed off by the Investment Committee and the investments are now in the process of being rebalanced.

We would also like to congratulate one of our paraplanners, Geraint, who has passed his R04 – Pensions and Retirement Planning exam! Those who have taken this exam know it is notoriously tricky, so we are delighted for Geraint who is now half way to completing his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

I recently enjoyed a trip to Malaysia and Singapore with my husband, Terrence. We had the most wonderful time soaking in the different cultures and foods. I particularly enjoyed the Singapore Gardens which reminded me of a futuristic sci-fi city from the movies! Kuala Lumpur was also a highlight as it was the perfect mix of city life, tropical weather, endless walking and lots of cultural sights.

Andrew went on a very cold ski trip with his friends. I heard some exciting (but terrifying) stories of going down some mountain slopes and it sounds like they had a brilliant time together. It was a similar story for James who also went skiing with a group of friends – we are glad they both managed to get some snow!

James is currently enjoying a big family holiday in Barbados and Tara is in the Dominic Republic with her husband, Lee, so I’m sure we’ll have lots of pictures to share during the next staff blog 😊

Take care everyone
