April Team News: Spring has Sprung!
The team at Vizion Wealth would like to wish everyone a Happy New Tax Year! I’m sure you can imagine; we have had a very busy couple of months and are glad to be seeing a little bit of sunshine, the lighter evenings and the cherry blossoms starting to open.
Firstly, we are extremely proud of our partners and chartered financial planners, Andrew and James, who were both featured in The Times VouchedFor’s 2023 Top Rated Financial Adviser Guide! Congratulations to them both for the well-deserved recognition for their hard work and dedication to their clients.
Our Wealth Management Executive, Joe, passed his first industry exam R01 – Financial Services, Regulation & Ethics first time! Joe spent the weekend celebrating in Copenhagen with his girlfriend, Liv. They endured some travel delays but it was all worth it when they got there. I hear the food was exceptional and the Copenhagen Zoo was the best zoo that Joe has ever visited – there were even pandas!
Our Back-Office Manager, Tara, enjoyed a holiday in the Dominic Republic with her husband, Lee. They made the most of relaxing on the white sand beaches with cocktails and sunshine – paradise! The went for some swimming in the warm sea and revelled in the peace and quiet of the island life.
I went to Cyprus with my husband, Terrence, which was a road trip adventure! We started in Paphos and visited Limassol, Pissouri, Larnaca, Nicosia and finally, Ayia Napa. We were a little unlucky with the weather but still got to see some beautiful scenery, indulge in the Cypriot cuisine and spend some quality time together.
Andrew is back in training on his road bike preparing for the Ring of Fire 2023 3 day 250 mile Charity Bike Ride starting on the 19th May in Norfolk. His weekends throughout February and March have consisted of 60 mile bike rides, sometimes in the rain, it doesn’t sound like much fun! With over 100 cyclists expected this year the event is aiming for raise over £100,000 for 3 charities. Andrew is as determined as ever to do his part for 3 deserving charities, including:
- Willen Hospice – End of life palliative care (willen-hospice.org.uk)
2. Ed Slater (ex Milton Keynes player) and the Gloucester Rugby 4ED campaign: Gloucester Rugby – MND support
3. Milton Keynes Rugby Club MKRUFC – Developing and Introducing children to the Great Sport of Rugby in Milton Keynes
