Hello and welcome to the Vizion Wealth Team News, Autumn is fast approaching and we hope you all had a lovely summer.

So, what has been happening with the Vizion Team over the summer?  We have lots of news to share with you;

In our last blog we explained that Joe was leaving us for a new life in Canada with his girlfriend, we gave him a good send off, which included, team building clay pigeon shooting, dinner in a country pub and of course the mandatory send-off drinks.  He’ll be much missed and we wish him all the best in his future adventures.

For most, it was their first time clay pigeon shooting but everyone really enjoyed the experience, although we feel some further practice is needed if any of us are to make the GB team for the 2028 Olympics. Here are some photos of the team sporting their finest shooting poses:

We would also like to introduce you to Sam Garrett, who has replaced Joe as the review meeting coordinator and wealth management administrator. Sam has been at Vizion Wealth for nearly 3 months, some of you may have already heard from Sam whilst organising your review meetings.  Sam has fitted really well into our team and previously worked at an IFA in Northampton.  Sam is a keen Irish Dancer in her spare time, so we are looking forward to seeing these skills at a company social in the near future. Please feel free to say hello to Sam on email samantha@vizionwealth.co.uk or if you need to rearrange your review meeting.

We are also very proud to announce that Navleen has recently completed her CII Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning, Nav has worked really hard to complete this over the last couple of years and we are so happy for her amazing achievement.  Well done Nav and we look forward to seeing her progress with the Advanced Diploma which ultimately leads to the Chartered designation over time.

Andrew has also been busy once again on his bike and completed the Willen Hospice 100 ride for charity in early September. Many of the riders from the Ring of Fire charity multi day ride in May attended and were able to present Willen Hospice with a cheque for £25,000 from their fund-raising efforts. We’d like to extend a very big thank you to all clients that contributed to the fund raiser, it really is much appreciated.

Over the summer, all staff have enjoyed some much needed breaks including Navleen attending a wedding in North Carolina, Mel enjoying family time in Cyprus, Tara soaking up the lovely British weather in Cornwall and Andrew taking his family to Crete. Sam also had an early summer adventure travelling the length and breadth of Sri Lanka with his wife Rachel while Tean visited the lovely old English town of Southwold, Suffolk.

As we move into the Autumn, we’re extremely aware of client concerns around the Autumn Budget on 30th October. To ensure we are refreshed and ready to deal with any significant changes the budget may bring, we’ve arranged a Vizion Wealth team building day in early October. We’ll be sure to share some of the photos and stories with you in our next blog.

We look forward to updating you in our next staff blog in December which will be our Christmas / Winter newsletter. We hope you all enjoy the changing season as we move into Autumn and as always if you would like to discuss any matters with the team or your adviser, please contact us at any time.
