March Team News
Hello and a very warm welcome to the Vizion Wealth Team News. We are just about surviving the run up to the tax year end, it is always a very busy time for us and a great opportunity to check in with you all to see if you need any tax year end assistance.
Last time we wrote to you, we were off to our Christmas party – it seems like ages ago now, but we had a great time in London. We started off with some shuffleboard at a pub in Farringdon then on to an escape room, which we just about completed in time! Finally, on to a Piano Bar for dinner and drinks, and a bit of dancing. It was a very late night but we all made it into work the next day, although we did need a Thai lunch staff meeting to perk us up.
Here are some photos of our night out, unfortunately Tean and Mel were unable to make it at the last minute, so we had some of Andrew’s friends join us.
Very serious on the Shuffleboard!
We ‘escaped’ the Lady Chastity’s Reserve escape room! And then we had some cocktails to celebrate our escape.
In January 2025 we said a big hello to a new staff member. Hannah Dunkley has joined us having had 3 years’ experience with another IFA. Hannah has already met and spoken to many of you and will be a key member of the client review team. Hannah is a keen triathlete and will be completing her first marathon in April and her first half Ironman in the summer. She has been a great addition to our team and we look forward to helping her develop her industry skills and knowledge in the future.
We are rolling out staff spotlights, so it seems only right to start with our newest employee Hannah, but do look out for the rest of the staff in future blogs – download her ‘Staff Spotlight’ here.
Both Andrew & Tean managed to get away for a few days skiing in the Alps, Andrew in Cervinia in northern Italy with his family which has the back drop of the mighty Matterhorn and Tean in Morzine, France. They both had great blue skies for the whole trip.
Mel, our Paraplanner has a new addition coming into the family very soon, her name is Rosie and, well, who doesn’t want to see a photo of a new little puppy!
And finally, we’ve had a recent visitor to the office. Sam’s baby Callum, visited the office this week and has already shown a keen interest in Cashflow planning.
Hopefully you will have seen our Tax-Year End email and we have already been in contact with most of you to complete any tax-year top ups and allowances. Please do reach out to your adviser if there is anything you need help with.
We are all looking forward to some warmer weather as we head into spring and we have our next staff social booked – Go Ape in April, we will fill you in on the details in our next blog.
