April Team News

Firstly, I would like to wish you all a Happy New Tax Year! Although it may not be the start of the new year that we were all expecting to have, the staff at Vizion Wealth have smoothly adjusted to virtual working and have been keeping as busy as ever with closing off 2019/20 and preparing for the new tax year.

Fortunately, we have not experienced any delays with our transition to home working and we are able to conduct business as usual and having advisory meetings via Zoom (as I’m sure most of you are familiar with now!)

We sincerely hope that all of our clients and their families and friends are keeping well during these concerning times. We understand that it is a very challenging time for everyone physically and mentally, and we are doing everything we can to ensure our clients are kept reassured throughout this period of uncertainty.

Our own ‘working from home’ tips include keeping as active as possible and making the most of your daily walks in the sunshine! Perhaps to write a list of your daily tasks at the start of each day and tick them off as you complete each task. Although it is difficult to stick to a daily arrangement, some form of structure does the mind a world of good! Lastly, if you are able to use the time to find your inner creativity and delve into world of arts and crafts or anything else that takes your interest (that you’ve never really had time to pursue) now could be the time 😊 and if you are feeling unproductive, this is normal considering the circumstances and that is okay too!

However, among all the COVID-19 news, we do have some positive and exciting company announcements. We have two new members of staff, the lovely Sam Williams and Terence Healey! Both Sam and Terry have joined us as paraplanners, with Terry now working as Andrews direct support.

Terry has 22 years of experience in the industry and has spent some time as an adviser between 2007 – 2009. For the last 7 years he has been working for a local Wealth Management firm in Milton Keynes covering a variety of roles including paraplanning, compliance coordinator and training. In his spare time, Terry keeps busy at home with his 6 children and he is a huge Liverpool fan! He is also studying a philosophy and psychology degree.

After completing his degree in Mathematics at the University of Surrey and graduating with a 2:1, Sam began working for a Financial Planning firm in 2016 and quickly completed his Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning by October 2018. Sam also plays the trumpet and is a member of Jazz Colossus Big Band, who are a local orchestra performing hard-hitting jazz, swing, Latin, funk and everything in-between!

We hope you all keep safe and well.

Love Jess
