January Team News

Alas, January is over and we enter the shortest month of the year. So far in February we’ve had Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis… god knows who else is coming for us! Let’s hope the depletion of our ozone layer enters a period of recovery and our wonderful politicians of the world aid us in combatting the issue of global warming. I hope you have all managed to safe during the turbulent weather conditions.

Corinne spent her birthday weekend in Turkey and was treated to a beauty treatment by the Vizion Wealth team (of course, she’s already beautiful enough – but who doesn’t like a pamper!). The 3-course birthday meal looked delicious, and fresh from the coast of Izmir. Andrew’s wife, Sue, made a Bakewell tart for the office. It was absolutely divine (and only lasted about 3 hours) so thank you Sue!

James went on a ski trip to La Plagne and had a great time on the slopes with Georgie and some friends and family. Sadly, he did get injured and suffered from concussion the next week, but thankfully he’s now fully recovered.

Mel had a girls weekend away to Butlins and they had a theme for each night, which included rocky horror, leopard print and venetian masked ball (fancy!). The purpose of a girls weekend was definitely fulfilled – eat, dance, and get merry. Mel also had a day out in London with her family, her children were treated to the Natural History Museum, the Rainforest Café and an almond slice (or two) from Costa.

Jon has now booked his stag do with the boys to Norwich. He slightly worried about what they have in store but we are sure he’ll cope! For his birthday, Jon was treated to a meal at the hottest curry house in Northampton from the Vizion Wealth team – good luck Jon.

Andrew is currently in Bulgaria with his family on their annual ski expedition – so smiles all around from the Pirin mountains! Andrew also had a ski trip with the lads in Austria. They too had a week of fancy dress (it wouldn’t be Andrew without the fancy-dress part!)

I hope you all have a lovely month. Busy times ahead for the office with the budget and end of tax year looming.
