Team News: Wedding Planning, Charity Fundraising and a feature in The Times!

The shortest month of the year is now over, and we’ve been lucky enough to have some wonderfully sunny days! (Some would say lucky, some would say global warming crisis…)

Vizion Wealth appeared in The Times this month, as one of VouchedFor’s UK top rated financial advisory firms with both Andrew and James appearing at top rated advisers. So, kudos to Andrew and James who are consistently working hard to deliver an efficient and comprehensive advisory and ongoing wealth management service.

It was Jon’s birthday last month, and as a birthday treat the team bought him two cricket T020 tickets at a match of his choice this summer. In other good news, Jon & I have each booked our wedding venues for 2020 😊 Roll on the dress shopping (and also the credit card debt.)

Super Mum/Paraplanner Mel has reached a tremendous milestone with her Couch-to-5k training programme; she can run for a total of 35 minutes!! Looks like this lady has it all… fitness, brains and beauty (cheesy but true). She’ll probably kill me for writing that… however, she’s just lucky that I didn’t share a photo from her ladies’ weekend away at Butlins.

Andrew has yet again survived another ski trip – injury free – this time with his family. Himself and his wife, Sue, have also started training for the Ring of Fire 2019 Bike Ride! Some background…

The Ring of Fire Charity Bike Ride is a sponsored cycle from Bordeaux to Beziers in France to raise much needed funds to attract, support and develop boy and girls rugby in Milton Keynes from ages 5 – 105. The route covers 600km from the Atlantic coast down to the Med in 4 days, quite a challenge through French wine country! The mixed ability group of former players and friends of the Milton Keynes Rugby Club consists of 55 riders and 10 support crew who are passionate about giving back to rugby, encouraging more children to become involved in the sport and giving back to the local community.

All funds raised go to the club to improve the facilities and develop rugby as a sport in Milton Keynes through MKRUFC (a community-based rugby club). Their goal is to complete their unfinished clubhouse and major works to the grounds. They aim to raise £75,000 from the event, however, any donations however small are gratefully received, if you wish to donate: https://localgiving.org/appeal/mkrufcringoffire19/

With the end of the tax-year looming, we hope you have a constructive, and stress-free March!

Best wishes, Jess
