Team News: Relaxing Breaks, the Inca Trail and Next Stop Ibiza…

May is now upon us, which means summer is around the corner! April was a busy and exciting month for the Vizion Wealth staff.

Corinne and her husband, Howie, had a well-deserved and relaxing break up north. They visited Bamburgh in Northumberland and then went to visit Edinburgh for a few nights. They saw some beautiful sights in the Farne Islands including nesting Hardy Puffins, and even spotted some dolphins on the boat ride back.

Faith had her birthday, and went off to London to attend the Mary Quant exhibition, and then went for a good old burger and lobster, with some prosecco of course! Faith has always had an interest in the fashion industry, and she definitely gets the award for best dressed in the office😊(as well as party animal!)

After a long and tiring Inca Trail hike, I saw some wonderful / terrifying sights on my trip to the Amazon – capybaras, spider monkeys, and of course – tarantulas. (but luckily no anacondas!) The best part for me was, as there was no light pollution in the area, parts of the milky way were visible – it was spectacular!

James went to visit north Wales with his girlfriend, Georgie, and his grandma. James has also decided to pursue DJ’ing as a hobby, and decided to buy some decks (next stop Ibiza for DJ Blackham!) The relaxing is over for himself and Andrew though, as they head off to complete their cycling challenges in the next few weeks in France (to be continued in next month’s blog
hopefully no fatalities to report, although Andrew is cycling through the wine region so who knows on that front!)

Vizion also had some very sad news in April. We had to say goodbye to a very close friend of ours, Gus, Andrew’s family dog. Every morning he would come in with a spring in his step, and would always lift the spirits of everybody in the office. His presence was well and truly valued, and we will miss him dearly. So thank you Gus, head of security, for all that you were.

Have a lovely May bank holiday all.

Best wishes, Jess
